My ssd 600p is recognized by the BIOS but not Disk Management in Windows 7. How do I get the computer to read the second hard drive?

I have up plugged and re-plugged it in and I have played around with it in the BIOS directly, but still cannot get it to work. Are there any other tricks, or am I screwed?

660p driver questions

Hello,Can anyone explain to me what "intel mini port and filter device management" does?Also is it necessary to update the firmware? what changed in the update? ive never done that before and im not sure if im comfortable doing it.Thank you
