Is This Normal?

Hey everyone. I recently bought an Intel 660P SSD. When I open the Task Manager and look at the disk graphic in the performance tab, I can see that my main disk (the aforementioned SSD) reads and writes every couple seconds even when I'm not running any programs. Is this normal? I know that Windows runs many of its own services in the background so I'm assuming this has something to do with that but I wanted to be sure. Thanks.

Normal is a relative term. For Windows, this is normal.

Okay, thank you. I read somewhere that it's not good for SSDs to be written on a lot, so I just wanted to be sure.
