I have 3x these Sun Oracle 6.4TB INTEL P4618 SSD drives on old VDV1RZ09 firmware.  The SOLIDGM Storage tool tells me to contact system vendor for latest firmware. I don't have a support package as these drives are being used in a homelab setup.  Can anyone on here point me to the latest firmware and the tools required to update the cards.

Hello Chris,

The firmware version you mentioned (VDV1RZ09) indicates that these Intel SSD DC P4618 Series drives are running Oracle/Sun OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) firmware.

Because of the OEM firmware signature, the Solidigm Storage Tool blocks the standard update path and redirects to the system vendor.

At this time, we would recommend checking Oracle/Sun support resources for the appropriate firmware package and update procedure for these drives.
