DC S3700 and vmware esx

We want to use DC S3700 in our VMware ESX/vSphere 4.1 environment as local datastore. Due to no TRIM support, I would like to know what the effect is on performance and reliabilty. Are the drives able to write the full capacity 5 times a day for 5 years and will the performance not degrade?

Yes, you can expect to write the full capacity 5 times a day for the full 5 year warranty period even without TRIM. Our Data Center drives are built to reduce the need for TRIM.
