booting redhat linux 6.X form a 750 SSD

Has any one managed to boot Redhat 6.X direct form a 750SSD. The disk is installed in a supermicro system with aSupermicro X10DAX Dual Xeon™ E5v3 Wortstation E-ATX MotherboardIntel 612 Chipset, Socket 2011-3 (Grantley).
