Can you please suggest if Intel motheroard DX58SO (with i7 920 CPU) support Intel SSD drives?

Any system with a SATA port should work just fine with an SSD. SSDs are not special in that regard; motherboards do not need "special support" to work with an SSD, nor vice-versa. The CPU model you're using also has zero relevancy.

The http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/motherboards/DX58SO/DX58SO-overview.htm DX58SO has six (6) SATA300 ports driven by an Intel ICH10R southbridge, and two (2) eSATA ports driven by a Marvell controller.
