I am running an Intel 510 Series 250gb SSD on a Mac Mini in OS 10.6.8. I am confused about TRIM. Currently I am using Trim Enabler 1.2, but am not certain if it is necessary.
Does this 510 series SSD drive require TRIM? I read that some newer SSD drives have "Garbage Collection" and do not require TRIM.
I wish to upgrade to Lion 10.7.2.
