How to Trim ssd on XP?

I was under the impression that you do the following:
- install the latest f/w
- ssd toolbox
- run the ssd optimizer
And that's it, your drive is trimmed. But it's all happening too fast for me to beleive that it is actually trimming.
Is this how you initaiate a trim command?

You can run the Optimzer manually or via a schedule. There is no Toolbox available now, the old one had an issue with System Restore so they are working on a fix. According to the announcement, XP System Restore is not mentioned--so may be alright to use old Toolbox version with XP.
