You mean the SATA password/HDD password in BIOS to enable FDE? If so then you are out of luck, no way to recover it. Your SSD is nothing more than a expensive paperweight at this point. Not even Intel can reset it for you.

Hi,

I have the same problem.

I bought a Thinkpad Edge 13 (AMD) and a SSD 320.

First I installed Linux and the System works well.

Afterwards I actived Passphrase encryption and ATA Password (HDP) in BIOS and can't unlock the drive anymore.

Is that just a mere chance!?

I don't need the data, too - I just want my freshly bought SSD back!!!
