Hi,
I'm running 72 DC s4520 drives with firmware 7CV10100 and I want to update these to 7CV10111.
The SST tool display that firmare is available but when applying the update an error occurs:
"Status":"Firmware update failed."
Booting with the ISO tool results in no compatible devices fout.
I'm running on multiple Fedora systems.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi Sage99,
That's it! Thank you. I also needed to convert the controller from HBA to RAID and set the drives to Raid Capable but after that and the "sst set -system EnableLSIAdapter=True" Disks are updating. Thank you!

Hi p_van_houten,
Please check the compatibility of your OS, also check the Solidigm Storag Tool Version.

Hi,
I've found the issue. The disks are connected via a Dell Perc H330 Mini controller (in HBA mode).
Is there an option to get this to work?

Hi p_van_houten,
You need to contact Dell regarding your question, we do not support Dell products.

Hi p_van_houten,
Since Dell Perc H330 is using LSI-3008 chipset, you can try the command below to enable firmware update.
sst set -system EnableLSIAdapter=True
The information about LSI RAID adaptor can be found in page 7 of the SST CLI user guide.
Hope this helps.
