I was just setting up a computer for a family member and found their Intel NVMe had no dashboard softward. After searching, I found Intel said Solidigm now provides the dashboard software for their drives. After installing it, I found I was unable to save the software to the system tray as I normally do with other NVMe dashboard products such as Samsung Magician.
Can Solidigm please update their software to allow an agent to run in the system tray to monitor when updates are avilable, or when a drive may need to be trimmed?
This would be far more convenient than pinning the program to the taskbar where it takes up unnecessary space.
Thx...

Dear gmeades,
Thank you for your feedback and suggestion.
At the moment, the software does not include a background system tray agent. Your feedback has been shared with our team.
In the meantime, you can manually launch the tool to check for firmware updates and perform maintenance tasks such as TRIM as needed.
Best regards,
Gleb

Dear gmeades,
Hope you are doing well,
Just to add a little more context to the previous response. SST does not run in the background on its own, so if your concern is more about trimming data under the SST dashboard, don't worry—it's easy to manage! You can simply set the schedule within SST > System > Optimizer > Settings. Just choose whether you'd like to run it daily, weekly, or monthly, and you're all set.
I truly hope this information proves helpful to you.
Best regards,
Josue
