I have ACER VX 15 shipped with 256GB Intel SSD 600p series. After updating my system to Windows 10 version 1803 it is constantly crashing. Microsoft has confirmed that few Intel SSDs are not compatible with the update and Intel has confirmed that its Intel SSD 600p and pro-6000 models are having this issue. I just want to know the status regarding this issue from Intel. When the patch will be available for Intel 600p SSD ?

Hello,
We understand that this known issue can make a fresh installation of the 1803 build difficult as the KB4100403 is not yet integrated. We are working with Microsoft to include the latest updates into their ISO image. Until this time, the recommended method to update to version 1803 for affected users is defined https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum... here. Hi Andres V.
Any news on this matter?
I'll wait for the update including the fix to avoid any problems after upgrading to 1803 manually. As far as I know at this point the fix can only be obtained after one installes the corrupt upgrade probably resulting in major problems. So I rather wait for the automated upgrade including the fix. Besides your recommended manual update presented in the link you provided doesn't work. When I manually check for updates it comes up with nothing. I guess Microsoft blocked my machine from getting the update through the normal channel.
Pleas keep us posted how we should solve this matter without hassle.

Hello Master_Burn,
We are still working with Microsoft to include the mentioned updates into their ISO image, as soon as we have any relevant information we'll post it here.
The recommended method is still the one described https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/%3Furl%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fanswers.microsoft.com%252...: here.

Hi Andres V.
Thank you for your reply.
OK, I never upgraded to 1803 because it was already aborted automatically in the update proces. So luckily I do not have to 'roll back' to 1709 either.
I'll wait for you and/or Microsoft to come with the solution. I hope it will be provided through the 'normal' update channel...
Thanks and greetz, Master

Hello there,
So today i performed a clean install of Windows 10 version 1803 using bootable USB and my system crashed 5-6 times during the startup windows 10 set-up. I wasnt even able to reach the desktop bcoz of the crashes. But after few more tries my system reached to the desktop ( was lucky enough) and i have already saved the Microsoft Patch KB4100403 on my other hard drive, as soon as i reached the desktop i rushed to the Patch file and updated my system. Thanks to god that it didnt crashed in between of the update. Now the patch is installed and my system is running smooth on Windows 10 version 1803. It was my worst experience with Microsoft Windows. I wonder how others will able to install this patch as the system is crashing right after the system boots up leaves no time for installation of the patch.
Good Luck to all those people.
