I have ACER VX 15 shipped with 256GB Intel SSD 600p series. After updating my system to Windows 10 version 1803 it is constantly crashing. Microsoft has confirmed that few Intel SSDs are not compatible with the update and Intel has confirmed that its Intel SSD 600p and pro-6000 models are having this issue. I just want to know the status regarding this issue from Intel. When the patch will be available for Intel 600p SSD ?

The way keshav_c17 experienced shouldn't be the way at all to solve this issue. That would be rediculous....
I sincerely hope Microsoft is preparing the upgrade to 1803 including this patch for Intel SSD owners and/or is releasing the patch to install before the actual upgrade. I think that is why the upgrade isn't provided through Windows update automatically at this moment...

Intel and/or Microsoft should host 1803 with this update integrated so users can install without issue.

Yeah, the way i upgraded to version 1803 is totally ridiculous, i wont recommend anyone to upgrade the way i did. But now it is stable after installing patch. Microsoft should push patch to 1709 version itself so that those devices can upgrade to version 1803 without any crashes. And those who can boot to desktop and system takes some time to crash then they have margin to install the patch file. download it separately from here https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/ScopedViewInline.aspx?updateid=0f99f297-454f-4437-bfba-c3ac... Microsoft Update Catalog and do a standalone update. dont wait for Windows Update to download the cumulative update automatically.

i Keshav,
With a clean install in this case there might be a slight problem, when you do not have an internet connection up during install. Then the install process cannot check for updates during install and you may end up with the problems you had.
As your WiFi will never be up yet at install time, it has to be cabled connection. Then normally the KB4100403 should be included in the install process and maybe the problem does not occur then.
It's a bit unusual, but most of the time it helps to have a cabled internet connection at install time.

Thanks to all for sharing your inputs on this matter. At this point, the way to go is through Microsoft's workaround shared at https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-windows_install/devices-with-certain-in... https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-windows_install/devices-with-certain-in...Regards,Andres V.
