Recently bought all components to build a PC for a buddy of mine.
Now that I've assembled the PC i can't seem to detect the 600p SSD
The following components are installed:
MSI B150 PC MATE motherboardIntel 600p SSD 256gb
16gb DDR4 Hyper X Fury
nVidia GeForce GTX 1070
Intel i5-6400
Before buying I checked the Intel website and saw that the motherboard does support the SSD
Is this a known issue? is there a fix for this?

Hello DaveB954,
We know that the idea is to use it as a boot drive; however, sometimes there are so many limitations. We hope HP* can help you with this situation from the BIOS settings.Regards,Nestor C02-17-2017 04:53 PM
OK, I really didn't think you could actually come up with a solution. Since 128GB is too small for a data storage drive, I'll have to sell my Intel 600P drive on ebay and then get a 512GB NVMe drive for storage. I'll use the 256GB SATA SSD that came with the computer as the boot drive.
Thanks for your time.

Hi DaveB954,
You are welcome, unfortunately, some systems are not properly configured to handle these kinds of drives.Regards,Nestor C02-20-2017 12:22 PM
