How to use hardware encryption in SSD 530 series on old motherboard? I bought SSD 530 series. But my motherboard not support HHD password functionality. Can I use Intel SSD Toolbox or anouther software from Intel to activate and ecryption? Thank you!

I bought SSD 530 series. But my motherboard not support HHD password functionality. (approximately 6 years old...)
Can I use Intel SSD Toolbox or another software from Intel to activate and use encryption?

Hello Dibaumi,
Our Intel® SSD 530 Series offers AES-256-bit Hardware Encryption, however, if your BIOS does not offer the possibility of inserting a password, then, this action will not be possible. Currently, we don't have any software that offers this kind of service. There might be third-party tools that offer this services out there.
