How do I change SSD's and keep the existing system and data on the other 32GB SSD?
There is a 1TB extrenal HD attached.

Backup current SSD by external tools like Acronis, or by Windows Backup feature (full disk backup), to HDD, then restore to new SSD after replacing.

I use Ubuntu so researching Acronis told me of Clonezilla.
I've downloaded it and will do research on how to use with Youtube.

Don`t forget to include into backup system hidden partitions (EFI and MSR, two 100 MB-sized parts in beginning of SSD), otherwise you will loose Windows boot.
