Windows 7 configuration?

So, I have a brand new X25 G2 ready to install in an 8 gig Intel i5 machine. Looking around the web, I see lots of discussion about optimum configuration of Windows 7, but as usual, nothing definitive, just the usual contradictory posts one frequently sees on tech subjects.

I thought I'd ask here if anyone knows of any authoritative configuration details provided for Windows 7 and SSDs? Things like to swap or not, turn off pre-fetch, etc.
