Various tech sites such as Anandtech have an article up about the fact that with the newest RST software that Raid 0 and trim is supported.
Is this available for X79? The X79 of course uses RSTe which has a different version number to the normal RST and the articles do not mention anything about X79 at all

yes it is ! a little late to the party .
Working a treat on Gigabyte x79, just wish samsung would update their software to also support it. Never the less it works fine now.

hey snout! glad for you!!!
asus is now saying it's too unstable and unproven for their x79 boards...guess who gets crossed off my future board purchases?

Hey Buddy !
Yes i read over the threads, cannot really understand why they Dont at least release some kind of closed beta program for testing with you guys. At least then they will get good feedback from people knowing what they are doing.

Alright !! everyone back to OCZ. ROLOL
Bless Intel, you come out with new x79 but don't put pci-e 3.0 on CPU, just on older chipset CPUs.
You don't put TRIM support on the newest chipset,
Maybe its a joke, who would do this besides a company trying to scam people.
Good news, maybe enough people got sick of being scammed, this is from Intel- Current RSTe drivers specific to X79 do NOT support TRIM on RAID 0, but an updated RST driver version coming soon will add support for X79 based systems, including the TRIM on RAID 0 feature. Note that on client 7-series chipsets (non X79), RST driver version 11.0 and beyond supports TRIM on RAID 0. -Intel........
Bless you Intel, we are so lucky. Can I tell you that its not RST, Intel, its called RST-E that we need a ROM/driver for.
So will Intel put the TRIM support on the 600 series of the X79 and then make us wait a year before it hits the X79 ??????.
Thanks Intel, we love waiting for Ivy bridge -e and a ROM and driver for TRIM support of our NEW X79.
Can't wait for some more of your new hardware to come out with 2001 software. YAAAAAA
I love paying to revert to the old day's. NOT.
