Apart from Intel Toolbox and firmware update are there any other tools or applications available for Intel SSD's.

Which sort of tools and application do you mean and what should they do?
AFAIK there is only 1 additional application available, which is from Intel and optimized for being used with Intel SSD's. It's the package named "Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology", which contains actual Intel AHCI and RAID drivers and a new Console software for hdd's and SSD's running in AHCI or RAID Mode.
By the way: The Rapid Storage Technology (RST) is the successor of the "Intel(R) Matrix Storage Manager" and optimized for being used with Windows 7 and Intel SSD's.

That is correct, but this tool can be used with all SSD's. As far as I understood her/him, shiv2010 asked for special tools for Intel SSD's.

Are you having a hard day or something? AS SSD is the tool of choice to benchmark SSDs, regardless of brand. The fact that AS SSD is for all SSDs does not negate the significance of my suggesting that tool to him, even if he says Intel SSD.
