SSD Toolbox compulsory for Trim function under W7 ?

Hello,

I have an Intel X25-M 160GB installed and would like to know if the Intel SSD Toolbox through its SSD Optimizer function was compulsory in order to trim the SSD under Windows 7 ? If not, how can we ensure the drive receive proper automatic maintenance under Win7 ?

To check if TRIM is working , Run as Admin. fsutil behavior query DisableDeleteNotify . If Result is ( 0 ) Trim is working .
