I have a new 120G (SSDSAM120G2GC) Firmware version shows "2CV102HD" from Toolbox.
I'm getting "The SSD optimizer shows a Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS)" error screen described here:
http://www.intel.com/support/ssdc/hpssd/sb/CS-031501.htm http://www.intel.com/support/ssdc/hpssd/sb/CS-031501.htm
The fix in the link makes no difference. (to make sure shadow copy sevice is running) It is running and automatic.
Tried with it stopped, no diff.
Am using 2.0.1.000 of toolbox (latest)
This is on an HP 6910p laptop.
OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600
My storage controler is Intel(R) ICH8M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller, the driver is Intel iaStor.sys V8.9.2.1002
Trim runs fine on another system. The SSD optimizer (older version ) runs fine on same laptop type for 80G version
Help is appreciated

Same problem and error message with the optimizer with Toolbox 2.0.1.
"Intel SSD optimizer could not run due to the presence of Volume shadow copy ....."
Intel X25-V - 40Go - SSDSA2MP040G2K5
Windows XP SP3
VSS service started (automatic).
The optimizer works with Toolbox 1.3, but the schedule is not working, same message.

As an FYI, I've moved the 120G ssd to a new windows 7 laptop where the SSD optimizer works fine, but I won't be able to determine what in XP was the issue.
