This is my model i got it in June 09 for 599.99 from new egg

You are telling me that this drive is not supported for TRIM?

What is the deal, early adopters are gettign hosed, what is the point to upgrade the firmware now?

+1: No TRIM support for that drive. It's a G1.

Looks like you bought about a month before the G2's came out.
