I updated the firmware on my x25 34nm 160GB drive successfully and then installed the Toolbox. I ran the Fast Diagnostic Scan - passed no problems. The file info showed the updated firmware OK.
But when I tried to run the Optimizer I got a failure with the above words.
Anybody else seen this? What does it mean? Anybody help? TIA.
I'm running Win 7 x64 on a home made PC. The SSD drive is in ACHI mode where it has always been even for the firmware update. The mobo is an Asus P6TD Deluxe.
PS It looks like the firmware update has just been removed from the Intel site.
