Intell SSD ToolBox does not recognize 311 smart data

Got a 311 hooked to a PCI-E Sata controller...........System Sandra sees Smart Data.....but the toolbox does not.....

Hi Zardiw,

The Intel SSD Toolbox is validated on direct SATA connections only.

Working via add-in SATA adapters is not guaranteed.

Suggest moving the SSD to a direct connected SATA port.

Thanks for the response..........And if I HAD another Mobo SATA port, I would of course use it........Seems kind of silly that Sandra can read the smart data, but Intel can't..........lol..........And fwiw, saying 'Well, that's the way it is' is pretty useless.....so CHANGE IT...........lol.........none of this stuff is written in marble last time I checked..............z

PS. Does this mean the Maintenance functions will also NOT work?????????????????????????
