Getting that error while trying to update the firmware. Was there any solution to this yet? Ive tried in IDE mode and AHCI mode. And updating my bios to the latest one. I have win 7 ultimate. Just installed. Asus m4a78 pro motherboard. Thanks in advance. Oh I should mention I have the intel x25-m 80 g2.

Ok I solved my problem. Figured I would post it in case anyone else has the same issue. Apparently the drive didnt like to be plugged into the SATA 2 port. I had to plug it into the SATA 1 port. And the firmware detected it no problem. Did this while in AHCI mode.

Although I got en error while installing the firmware which scared the shit out me. "Error reading from the drive..." However it actually did install the firmware after checking crystal disk info.

You are wrong, this warning is not about Nvidia graphic cards. This does only affect Nvidia mainboard chipsets.
