Hello everyone I have a brand new intel 320 160GB SSD and my PC froze so it had to be restarted now it shows my SSD is only at 8mb capacity and wont boot?
Is there a fix for this or will I have to send this back?

"An alternative option is to use the Intel ® SSD Toolbox or similar tools to perform a secure erase in order to restore the SSD to an operational state; all data will be erased."
Will I need to hook up the SSD to another computer to do this?

You will need to hook it up to computer with an operating system.... if you have spare HDD, you can install OS on existing computer and apply the secure erase. However, you should flash the firmware as this will fix the issue long term.

Had you performed an update to latest 362 firmware prior to the 8MB issue?
