Installed x25-m using IDE mode, is TRIM activated?

I read somewhere that TRIM is also supported in IDE mode but not as good. How do I know that TRIM is active?

From what I read, trim does not work in IDE mode, only AHCI.

Trim is supported by windows 7 original/default MS IDE drivers.
