If your system is one of those affected by this bug (since not all are) then yes, your ssd will be lost no matter if it is the system drive or data drive. I have mine installed in an Asus G73 notebook as the drive and it does get lost if I reboot....

I tried the IDE work around, but Windows 7 Pro 64 bit will not boot that way for me. ( I have the Asus G73jh laptop with C: = Intel 160 GB X25-M and = Intel 180 GB 530 series)
