Updating firmware of Dell P3700 SSD using Intel toolbox?

I've tried to do this however the software is pointing me to Dell for help, I cant seem to find the firmware for this specific drive on their website.

We understand you would like to update the firmware on your Intel® SSD DC P3700 (OEM), but the Intel® Solid-State Drive Toolbox does not work for this purpose.

First, we would like to let you know that for non-generic drives our tools don't work. In this case, you should contact the computer manufacturer (Dell*) in order to get the proper tool to update the firmware.

If your SSD is not the OEM version, then the tool you need to use is https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26970/Intel-SSD-Data-Center-Tool Intel® Data Center Tool, this because is the only one that comes with the latest Intel version.

Then just install the CLI (command line interface) program and run it under CMD (Command prompt).

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26970/Intel-SSD-Data-Center-Tool The user guide will give you instructions on how to perform the update. The command to be used (Running in CMD as administrator) is ISDCT.exe load -intelssd "x" (X being the index of the drive.).

The latest firmware update version is: 8DV101H0

I will try this tonight, reading through the PDF's this looks like the correct tool to use for updating DELL OEM drives.

Will update with feedback.
