SSD 540 240 g fail to boot

I just brought a 540 SSD 240g and tried to replace my old sandisk 120g ssd, I hv tried the data migration as well as installing the Win 7 ultimate system direct both failed to boot, while the sandisk 120g boot without any problem. Need help on this

Actually yes, there is a difference on that, anyway the BIOS needs to be updated as well. Find the latest BIOS version in this https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P9X79_DELUXE/HelpDesk_Download/ link.I will suggest you to contact Asus* before running the BIOS update in the computer.Please let us know the outcome.NC
