To clarify, the only data collected by Solidigm software is related to the drive's performance and health, such as SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) statistics. This information helps monitor the status of the drive and ensure its proper functioning.
If you uninstall the management software after installation, the data collection related to SMART statistics will no longer occur through the software. However, the drive will continue to internally track performance and health data, which can still be accessed through other tools or during troubleshooting if needed.
