So I've been trying to get the SSD Toolbox to work for several months. Each time I run it the blue Intel Solid-State Drive Toolbox screen comes up. I can see the Version number and it looks like it is trying to probably talk to the drive and then a popup box comes up. Intel SSD Toolbox has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I just updated to V3.2.3 and it's still happening.
My drive seems slow.
Running WIN7 Pro 64-Bit
Laptop is a Lenovo W500.
I've done some searching around and it seems others have had the same problem and no resolution seems to be available in those threads.
Anyone got some things to try - besides keep falling back in restore points.
TIA

Hi MAlumbaugh,
I am sorry you are having problems with the software but let me help you.
There are some troubleshooting steps you can try such as updating the NET FrameWork on the system and Java software. Before updating these programs, try uninstalling the software completely from the unit, then update the software and download the latest version again.
Here is the download link:

Hi Kevin
Thanks so much for your suggestions.
I have done as you outlined.
1. Uninstalled Toolbox
2. Checked for any updates to both Windows and Java - there was one for Java so I did that.
3. Reinstalled
Unfortunately - same results - Toolbox comes up - see the opening screen with the version number. Probably 2-4 seconds later the stopped working popup.
Any other ideas?
Is there a log somewhere from the Toolbox I can post?
Is there a way to run it with debug code enabled?

Hi MAlumbaugh,
Can you let me know what is the SSD model and how is it connected? Can you also please export the the MSINFO32 and attach it here?
Here you have information in how to get the MSINFO32:
