Toolbox on install appears to run fine, its when I have rebooted and attempt to run it again.
A window pops up saying that the program has stopped working, that Windows will close it and notify me if a solution is available.
I have run msinfo32 and found the following (there are several, this is just the last one):
[Windows Error Reporting]

It appears that there is a clash between Toolbox and a Microsoft MSVCR90 dynamic link library.
Is this a version issue?
Any ideas?

Hi Kevin,
I have C++ 2005 and 2008 loaded. .NET 3.5 and 4.5 are activated.
I installed the C++ 2012 redistributable and I also uninstalled and re-installed the toolbox. It fails with the exact same message.
The drive works so I'll just leave it for now. Maybe the next version will work. Or I'll be forced at some point to do a complete re-install!
Thanks for trying.
Sincerely,
Timothy.

Hi Kevin,
I thought you would like to know that I have just installed the November rollup
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3000850 November 2014 update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2
for Win 8.1 rebooted and ran toolbox, it works! Ran the optimizer, everything is in the green.
Thanks for all your help, looks like something in the OS not Toolbox.
Cheers,
Timothy.
