I need to upgrade a pc with ssd sata111 drives. I am looking for an SSD # sc2mh250a2k5(250gb) or a drive that is equivalent to run as system drive. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This is to upgrade a client system with sata11 drives on a supermicro X8DTN+ motherboard. Part # is from Supermicro

You do understand that, with this motherboard, you are limited to SATA-II (300Gb/s) throughput, right? There is no point in upgrading the drives if the desire is to get SATA-III (600Gb/s) throughput as you simply cannot get this performance with this motherboard. If, on the other hand, you are doing this to get to a bigger/better drive, then by all means proceed.
