We have great news related to this issue related to Kaspersky* antivirus:


Solidigm submitted a 'false positive report' for the Solidigm Storage Tool with Kaspersky*, to which Kaspersky* confirmed that it is a false positive and they are working on the fix.


For more information about this issue, visit the Solidigm Storage Tool (Intel® branded NAND SSDs) viruses thread on the Kaspersky* forums.

Based on this information, if you have any other questions related to Kaspersky*, we advise you to contact them directly.


We appreciate the time you took to bring this issue to our attention.


We will close this thread since the issue is related to a third-party tool and the solution is available on the link to the Kaspersky* forums previously provided.

As we understand, you are requesting support related to Solidigm™ Storage Tool. If we inferred correctly, please, provide us with the following information:


• The system details by extracting the SSU logs.


A- Go to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/ (for Windows*) and to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26735/ (for Linux) to download the software.

B- When you finish downloading it, open it.

C- Attach the file generated by the tool in your reply.


• Please, provide us with the name of the utility or the anti-virus detecting the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) as a trojan.


We appreciate the time you are taking to report this issue. We would be looking forward to your reply including this information.


We will follow up with you again on Thursday, the 14th of April 2022, if we do not receive an answer from you. Please, let us know if you would like to schedule a different date for the follow-up.

Hi I have the same problem

My AV is Kaspersky Internet Security(Version:21.3.10.391(i))

the file gettin flagged as tojan.win32.generic is from this site https://www.intel.de/content/www/de/de/download/715595/solidigm-storage-tool-intel-branded-nand-ssds...

It's in the zip file it's called Solidigm_Storage_Tool_1.0.16.exe

Attached the file generated by SSU too
