Want to align partition on 160GB SSD for XP... can't run Diskpar.exe

I used Diskpar.exe successfully a few months back, but when I try to run it now I just get a momentary flash... very short, can't see any text. Same result on all 5 computers I've tried. And, my "Diskpart" apparently doesn't have an "align" parameter, so that doesn't work either.

Any ideas of what to try next?

Remember:

Always clone or take a full backup of an HDD/SSD before running anything like PAT.

Seems I encountered PAT a couple of days too late.. :>)

I believe my rig is already running in AHCI mode... won't boot if other is selected.
