Just installed a 510 SSD and it runs very slow (file load about 1MB / sec)
Configuration:
Intel SSDSC2MH120A2
Win7
Asus Stryker Extreme MB
nVidia SATA controller 3.0 GB
Intel Q6700 CPU
4BG ram
latest drivers intstalled for everything
Performance is poor - a 297MB Excel 2010 file takes 3 minutes and 15 seconds to load. I was expecting 5 to 10 times better performance. Current performance is not any better than on my Centrino dual core laptop with a 5.400 RPM disk drive.
Also, after installing the Intel SSD Toolbox, whenever I run it, it won't let me do anything. It correctly identifies the installed drive , but when I click on the drive, it performs a refresh and won't let me select any of the buttons, such as "View drive information", "Check SMART Attributes", etc.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Unfortunately, NVIDIA chipsets sometimes have issues with SSDs.
Would it be possible for you to drop the SSD into your laptop just to run benchmarks? I expect the SSD to perform fine there.
