Intel X-25m SSD 80gb Raid 0 Error BSOD

Currently I am running an i7-920 overclocked to 3.8ghz on 12gb DDR3 1600mhz RAM, in an ASUS Rampage II GENE mobo.

Every time the computer was off for the overnight and then I started it back up after I got home from work, the computer would BSOD and reboot. Here is what it looked like once rebooted:

So I figured it was one drive; but then I noticed that the error was on either disks:

I emailed Intel support and they advised that I make sure all the drivers and bios were up to date, restore everything back to stock clock, and then split the drives and check them via Intel Toolbox.

I did not want to split the SSD's yet since I did not believe that both SSD's could be faulty at the exact same time; but did everything else and was still getting the errors. Wondering if this was a RAM issue, I contacted OCZ about it and they claimed that SSD's do not like 12gb's of RAM and advise me to remove 6gb and then check all of the sticks via memtest. All of the ram came out clean, but after removing the 6gb, I was not having the problem anymore.

Until today that is... I got another BSOD and now it showed that BOTH SSD's now had an error on them.

My tech friend advised me to check out the dump file and check out the debugging program to see what was causing it. I am still working on that at the moment, but if this does not find anything, i'm stumped. Do I seriously need to break up the drives and check them via the toolbox? Honestly, I love the performance but this is just stupid.

Hello, I would like to let you know that if you want to test the Solid State Drives individually for errors and you want to use the Solid State Drive toolbox you need to break the RAID array since the toolbox cannot when RAID is enabled.

Then how about you run your system at stock speed and not overclocked?

Overclock the CPU affects bus clock speeds of other chip/controllers that are linked too the same base clock.

Also update you BIOS this will likely disable RAID when updated but enabling back to RAID will not causes you to loss your RAID as that info is on your SSD's for it to stay in RAID.

I'm not sure if running a run diagnostic scan from toolbox is a wise as it seems to write to the SSD for testing.

From pdf

"Run Fast Diagnostic Scan

Use this option to perform a quick check on the health of an Intel SSD.

The scan checks 1.5 GB of the SSD for READ errors. The scan then creates 1 GB of random data and then compares it for data integrity. The scan takes approximately three to five minutes to complete and requires a minimum of 5GB of unutilized space to run.

If it creates 1 GB then an SSD out of RAID will likely corrupt what you had on their.
