Intel SSD 520 series 480GB - broken

Hi,

Seems like my 480GB drive has a serious issue.

All of a sudden it doesn't want to be recognized by the bios or the OS (win and linux). I'm thinking that there must be something wrong with the electronics.

Is there a way/tool that i can use to recover some of the data on that drive?

Intel SSD toolboox also doesn't recognize the drive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Same problem here Alton, would intel offer any help? I doubt it!

Those drives are very expensive and the quality is not up to the price.

I was thinking of upgrading to the 530s but those have far more problems.

Really shame for intel, it theycan't hold up to their reputation anymore.
