I have to do a switch reset on my computer since it seems to hang up.
With a normal hard drive...i would do a error-checking (under tools option) and make sure everything is ok.
Can i use the error-checking option from Windows 7 to do a quick scan on the X25-E SSD since it's the c drive?
Also, i know i can't use the SSD Optimizer (mangement tools) in SSD toolbox for the X25-E since its a G1 - 50 nm drive.
But can i use the fast and full diagnositc scan in the toolbox on the X25-E?
Thanks

yes, you can do a 'chkdsk c: /f' to check the file system for consistency.
and yes, the diagnostic scans will work on all intel ssd's.

In addition, you can read the SMART values using the Toolbox.
