Whats the different between

*Intel® X25-M 50nm (black case)

*Intel® X25-M 34nm (silver case)

When i order my SSD almost a year ago there was a picture of the one with black case, also with the serialnumber SSDSA2MH160G2R5

But i recieved the one with silver case and serialnumber SSDSA2M160G2GC

Why, and was it a bad change?

I believe the pictures were just wrong.

The 34nm G2 SSDs come in sillver cases while older 50nm G1 SSD came in black cases.

However, both SSDSA2M160G2GC and SSDSA2MH160G2R5 are model numbers for G2. All G2 perform basically the same.
