Just got a new SSD X-25 Intel 160GB. Running Win7-64bit Professional.
Is CCleaner good to run on SSD's? I've used these type of 'optimizers' in the past... Are they really doing any good? They seem do help my older computer (xp, that is)... but now I don't know if it's just a sugar pill.
Advanced System Care also has a nice easy to use optimizer... not sure If want to use it either.
Thanks in Advance,
Agava

Just use the Intel provided SSD Optimizer included in the SSD Toolbox.

The Intel SSD optimizer is unrelated in function to the other optimizers you mentioned, they have completely different purposes. They should not interfere with each other, so you may use them, but the others will not replace the function of the Intel SSD optimizer.

-Warning
-do not use the WIPE FREE SPACE funtion of CCleaner,it could have bricked some test drives by removing hidden files on the ssd free space.
-I'am no expert but ran across it on a google search.
-it is not a ssd trim funtion - but a HD cleaner.
