Exactly the same problem and behaviour for HP EliteBook 8540w with Intel 530 Series 180GB drive.SSDSC2BW180A4, FW DC12, HP BIOS version F.23, HDD in AHCI mode, Windows 7 Pro x64 (6.1.7601).
