Is the Intel SSD 660p 512GB M.2 PCIe module compatible with this motherboard: MSI X99A SLI Plus Gaming 7. The mobo is over 3 years old and manual says its M.2 port supports M.2 SATA 6Gb/s. Thanks!

I took a second look at the mobo manual and the exact sentence says, "The M.2 port supports either M.2 SATA 6Gb/s module or M.2 PCIe module." Does that mean the 660p WILL work? Sorry for my stupidity in not reading the manual better.
