Hi,
I want to update firmware on my SSD 330 series disk, but I don't know if it is safe when I'm running on it. I have installed Win 7 OS on this disk. I want to update firmware via Intel SSD Toolbox. I have 240 GB total space from which 180 GB is used. Also it is safe to run Intel SSD Optimizer?
Thanks for help.

martin.kovac,
Intel recommends that you use our tool, the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18455 Intel® Solid-State Drive Toolbox for such procedure. However, we highly recommend that you always have a safe copy of your data to avoid any inconveniences. For non-Windows* users requiring firmware updates, please use the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18363 Intel® Solid-State Drive Firmware Update Tool if that is your case, for example, if you are an Apple* or Linux* user, you will continue to use the Intel® SSD FUT for firmware updates.
Important! Before initiating the Intel® SSD firmware update, be sure to read and precisely follow the instructions included in the firmware update guidelines, and release notes. If you need any assistance with the firmware update or experience issues, please contact your nearest Intel Contact Center: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/contactsupport Contact Support
Also bear in mind that the firmware update process is done entirely at your own risk. Before attempting to update the firmware, remember to back up or make copies of your files. If the Intel® SSD firmware update process is interrupted, your Intel® SSD may not function properly.
Before beginning the Intel® SSD Toolbox installation, review the http://downloadmirror.intel.com/18455/eng/Intel_SSD_Toolbox_3_3_0_Release_Notes_325993-019US.pdf Release Notes and follow the instructions in the http://downloadmirror.intel.com/18363/eng/Intel_SSD_Firmware_Update_Tool_2%200%203_User_Guide_322570... Installation Guide. A http://www.intel.com/support/ssdc/hpssd/sb/CS-031221.htm Frequently Asked Questions document is also available for your reference.
