SSD 760p, sorry

Hello Birdie,
Thank you for contacting Intel® Memory and Storage support.
As mentioned in ARK (https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/134583/intel-ssd-760p-series-256gb-m-2-80mm-pci...) the hardware encryption available for your SSD is the AES 256 bit, and the data encryption is done at the drive level. This is used to ensure that the data stored on the drive is secured from unwanted intrusion.
The TCG/Opal IEEE1667 is a different encryption solution that is not available on your SSD.
Please, review the information below that is related to your drive encryption:
1-The encryption is always enabled.
2-A software solution is recommended to be used (e.g. Bitlocker on Windows).
We advise you to check with your OS (operating system) manufacturer or support about the software level encryption manager solutions available for your current configuration. Another option is to try to set up security at the BIOS level, in that case, consult with your PC manufacturer (OEM) for the available options.
We hope you find this information helpful.
Best regards,
Josh B.
