Got a brand new SSD DC S3500 Series 800 GB disk for my Macbook Pro in february 2014.
Last night it kicked the bucket after a forced power off - from 800 GB to 8,4 MB in 1 secs.
Now, since this bug has been around since 2011, has anyone found a way to recover any data from a drive that's been hit?

Yesterday I tried to update firmware on my DC S3500 800Gb from D2010350 to D2010370 update failed and drive is sowing 8MB.
Firmware update fails after 10% with bookable http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/18363/eng/issd... issdfut_2.0.13.iso.AND
Secure erase don't work with SSD toolbox and with "SSDProAdminTool_1.1.0_x64.exe" what should I do?
Please help.

Please try the http://www.thomas-krenn.com/en/wiki/SSD_Secure_Erase Secure Erase under Linux*. There are some utilities available online that will allow you to create a bootable Linux* drive, such as this one: http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/ http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/

So, I assume you have not yet been able to secure erase it?
Did you try setting up the Hard Drive password in the BIOS?
