Now that vSAN 6.6 is out, is Intel going to collaborate in a timely manner with VMware on certifying the P3700 SSDs for vSAN 6.6? Please recall the old thread on P3700 firmware issues with vSAN 6.2 where we had to constantly push Intel to perform the certification tests.

Hello Emulsifide,
Please keep in mind that while we do collaborate with VMware to have our firmware versions validated, the joint effort must be initiated by VMware. Once they have contacted us and requested our assistance in the matter, our engineering team will then provide the tools and information necesary to complete the task.As per http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/detail.php?deviceCategory=ssd&productid=40173&deviceCa... VMware* documentation, the latest firmware currently validated for the Intel® SSD DC P3700 Series under vSAN 6.6* is version 8DV101F0.We will investigate this issue further and update your thread as soon as we receive more information.Best regards,Carlos A.05-04-2017 12:48 PM
Thank you Carlos!! That literally was not there last night and was only certified for 6.5!
