The Intel 905p is fully functional but is no longer being recognized as an internal drive on my primary installation, or in the bios. However, I can get it recognized under certain circumstances.
So the drive works, the M.2 slot, adapter, and motherboard supports it. But it isn't recognized in windows or the bios like it was before. What could I try next?
It might be important to mention how this came about, the drive was recognized in W10/Bios previously. I lacked documentation and thought I could install windows to it like any other drive, but I now know that was a mistake after some troubleshooting.
Bios version has the Intel RST 20.1.0.57.51 RST VMD Driver installed. The drive has 3 partitions, 2 of which are smaller ones at 127MB. The machine is a i9-13900KF, but I could use an 11H gen system to make some tweaks or firmware changes to it if thats needed.
If anyone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Any method is fine and there’s no data we need to worry about backing up/restoring.
