Hello, ivagutmar.
Thank you for contacting Intel® Memory and Storage support.
As we understand, you are requesting support; related to your Intel® SSD DC P4510 Series; If we inferred correctly, please, review the following information:
1- It seems that your question is related to the SSD lithography type, and this information is available on ARK:
Go to ark.intel.com.
Click on the Memory and Storage section.
Select the desired product family.
Select the desired SSD series.
Select the specific SSD model.
Check the Lithography Type field on the product specification page.
Based on the Lithography Type field in the product specification page, the lithography type of your SSD is 64-Layer TLC 3D NAND.
For more information, visit the What do SLC, MLC, TLC, and QLC mean? Article:
2- Please, consider that a hard disk drive (HDD) is a form of data storage that uses mechanical parts, not a solid-state drive (SSD) that uses flash memory. Both conventional magnetic recording (CMR) and shingled magnetic recording (SMR) are technologies used to physically store data on HDDs and are not applicable for SSDs.
We hope you find this information helpful.
We will follow up with you again on Friday, the 25th of March 2022, if we do not receive an answer from you. Please, let us know if you would like to schedule a different date for the follow-up.
Best regards.
